New generation Kia Seltos will create a stir in India, will be launched next week with premium features and powerful engine.

The company had introduced it in December 2025 and now full preparations have been made to launch it in the market next week. The new Kia Seltos has been designed with a more premium look, advanced technology and better performance than ever before, so that it can maintain a strong hold in its segment.

Premium upgrade will be seen in design and cabin

The design of the new Kia Seltos has been given a sharper and more modern touch than before. The cabin of the SUV gives a completely hi-tech and luxury feel. It gets a 30-inch twin display setup, which includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This feature makes it one of the most advanced SUVs in the segment.

Hi-tech experience will be available in features

The company has made the new Kia Seltos fully loaded in terms of features. It has wireless charging, ventilated front seats, 10-way power adjustable driver seat and 64 color ambient lighting. For music lovers, it will get 8-speaker premium sound system from Bose. Apart from this, the cabin has been made more comfortable with panoramic sunroof and new AC controls.

No compromise was made even in safety

In terms of safety, more than 21 safety features have been provided in the new Kia Seltos. It includes essential features like Level-2 ADAS technology, ABS, EBD and ISOFIX child seat mount, making it a strong choice as a family SUV.

Powerful engine and transmission options

Three engine options will be available in the new Kia Seltos. This includes 1.5 liter petrol engine (115 PS power, 144 Nm torque), 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine (160 PS power, 253 Nm torque) and 1.5 liter diesel engine (116 PS power, 250 Nm torque). Manual, iMT, IVT and automatic gearbox options will be given for transmission.

price and competition

The new Kia Seltos will be launched on January 2. Its starting ex-showroom price can be around Rs 11 to 11.50 lakh. In the Indian market, it will compete directly with powerful SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Tata Harrier, Tata Sierra and MG Hector.
