New Hero 250cc Motorcycle Teased Before EICMA 2024
Hero has teased their new 250cc entrant which they will be revealing at EIMCA 2024. This is going to be one of the four models that Hero Moto Corp will be showcasing at the global event with the other being a new Xpulse. We are assuming that Hero will call this new motorcycle the Xtreme 250 R and it will be based on the 2.5R Xtunt concept that they showcased.
The new motorcycle will have an all new engine, and will rival the likes of the Bajaj Pulsar N250, Dominar 250 and TVS Apache and KTM 250 Duke. We are expecting it to be priced sub Rs 2 lakh and offer a lot of features.
From the teaser we can make out the design of the headlights which are an LED unit and also feature sharp DRLs. We can also see some other details like golden coloured USD front suspension forks, the rear seat which is a split-seat unit, the front disc brakes which are BYBRE units and the body panels which are done in a dual-tone theme.
The Xtreme 250R will feature a 250cc single-cylinder liquid cooled engine which should produce around 25 bhp and 25 Nm of torque which is on par with the competitors. As far as features go, we expect it to have LED lights, USD forks, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, dual channel ABS and maybe traction control as well.
The 250cc space is quite a popular one in India and mostly comprises of sporty commuters but there are some really capable bikes as well like the KTM 200 Duke and the Bajaj Puslar N 250. Hero will launch this motorcycle alongside the upcoming Xpulse and two other new models
