Indian Army: The Indian Army has taken an important initiative for the socio-economic empowerment of the families of martyred soldiers and brave women. Under this initiative, employment opportunities will be provided to the families of martyred soldiers at seven major airports of the country. For this, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoC) has been signed between the Indian Army and Air India Limited. This agreement has been made with the aim of providing respectable employment and long-term assistance to military families.

Employment opportunities will be available at seven major airports

Under this new initiative, Air India will provide 20 employment opportunities for brave women and 40 employment opportunities for their children. These appointments will be made at seven major airports of the country. The aim of this step is to financially strengthen the families of martyred soldiers and make them self-reliant. Also, this initiative is being considered an important effort towards ensuring stability and security in their lives.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi. The Army shared its official information on Thursday. According to the Army, this partnership is not limited to employment only, but aims to promote broader social welfare and empowerment.

Establishment of modern training labs in 25 military schools

Another important initiative has been announced under this agreement. Modern laboratories for vocational training will be set up in 25 Asha schools of the Indian Army. The objective of these Labs is to provide employment-oriented education and practical skills to the students, so that they can avail better career opportunities in future. This initiative is being considered a big step towards linking education with employment and making the youth self-reliant.

This agreement covers not only employment and education, but also environmental protection and health services. Battery operated E-Carts will be provided in Army hospitals, which will be used to ease the movement of patients. These e-carts will be specifically used for the elderly, injured soldiers and critically ill patients. This will increase convenience in hospitals and also promote environment-friendly transportation.

Big step towards empowerment of military families

This joint initiative of the Indian Army and Air India provides a new direction to the welfare of military families. The scheme not only focuses on employment generation but also strengthens dignity, self-reliance and social security. The Army says this cooperation is based on three key pillars—employment, empowerment and environment protection.

The main objective of this initiative is to provide permanent support to those families who have lost their relatives in the service of the country. Efforts are being made to actively include brave women and their children in the mainstream of society by providing them employment.
