Two-wheeler manufacturer Jawa Moto has introduced its new Jawa 730 Twin motorcycle in the global market. Interestingly, this model is not related to the Jawa bikes currently sold in India. This motorcycle is independently developed by the original Czech brand Java and is part of their international portfolio. So this is considered as a different and special offer for Indian Java fans.

Design and features

The design of the Java 730 Twin presents an attractive blend of modern and retro elements. The bike’s compact profile, sculpted fuel tank, wide open frame and short tail section give it a powerful and stylish look. At the front, circular LED headlamps are provided and the simple yet elegant bodywork gives it a minimalist look. This motorcycle has a full LED lighting system. Apart from this, the facility of smartphone connectivity has also been made available using modern technology. This allows the rider to see call and message alerts directly on the bike’s display. Also, the navigation facility is provided through the TFT instrument cluster, which is useful for long distance journeys.

Powertrain and Engine

According to Java’s global website, three models have been introduced under the 750 platform, of which the 730 Twin is an important model. The bike is powered by a 730 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. This engine produces around 74 bhp of power at 8,200 rpm. So this motorcycle is not only stylish but also powerful in terms of performance. According to the company, this engine has been developed in collaboration with Swiss engineering company Sutter Racing Technology. Hence, high quality engineering and reliability is expected in the engine.

For braking, twin Brembo calipers are provided at the front, which ensure superior braking ability. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends. Overall, the Java 730 Twin is a premium motorcycle with a balanced blend of style, technology and powerful performance. It is expected that it will create a new identity for the Java brand in the global market.
