Consolidating its leadership in the mid-SUV segment, Kia India has officially started production of the all-new Kia Seltos at its state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. This milestone is considered to be a significant milestone in Kia India’s manufacturing journey in India. The company is going to announce the prices of this new generation Seltos on January 2, 2026.
The new Kia Seltos is the next generation version of one of the most popular mid-SUVs in India, bigger, more attractive and technologically advanced. Designed keeping in mind the changing needs of the Indian consumer, the SUV offers a more spacious cabin, improved ride comfort, confident handling, advanced safety features and next-generation digital technology.

Speaking on the occasion, Kwangu Lee, Managing Director and CEO of Kia India said,
“The commencement of production of the all-new Kia Seltos is a proud moment for us. The Seltos has long set the benchmark in the mid-SUV segment. The new generation introduces a larger, attractive and advanced model based on customer feedback. Our team at the Anantapur plant is fully geared up to ensure on-time delivery.”
The manufacturing plant at Anantapur is Kia India’s first and flagship global manufacturing facility. Kia Seltos was produced for the first time in this plant which started in 2019. The plant plays an important role for the domestic market as well as exports, employing advanced automation, high quality manufacturing standards and skilled manpower.

The all-new Kia Seltos has been enlarged over the previous model. This SUV measures 4,460 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width and has a 2,690 mm wheelbase. This results in more cabin space, better stability and a premium driving experience.
In terms of design, the SUV is based on the Kia brand’s ‘Opposites United’ philosophy, featuring a new digital tiger face, Ice Cube LED projection headlamps, dynamic welcome function, sporty crystal cut alloy wheels and a modern silhouette. These features make the All-New Seltos more premium and eye-catching.
