Uttar-Pradesh: By vacating the Sahara city building in Lucknow, the efforts for the construction of a new Vidhan Bhavan have intensified. PWD has been given the responsibility of building a new Vidhan Bhavan under the supervision of the Housing Department. The construction work of the new Vidhan Sabha building on the land vacated from Sahara city is going to start soon. The Housing Department has entrusted the responsibility for this work to PWD.

Let us tell you that a meeting was organized under this project by the State Property Department, in which the proposals related to the construction of Vidhan Bhavan were discussed. This meeting was held on 23 December under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary. In the meeting, serious discussions were held regarding land selection and design for the new legislative building.

Let us tell you that in this meeting, along with the Chief Secretary, other important officials also participated, and various aspects of this project were considered.
