New order for supply of commercial LPG cylinders in Delhi
Lpg shortage: Due to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, the supply of gas and oil has been affected across the world, and its impact has been seen in India as well. Delhi government has taken several steps to deal with this situation. The Department of Food, Supplies and Consumer Affairs of Delhi has issued a priority list for the supply of commercial LPG cylinders. LPG shortage: Priority in commercial cylinder distribution:
1. First priority: Educational institutions, hospitals, railways and airports, 2. Second priority: Government institutions and canteens, 3. Third priority: Restaurants and eateries, 4. Fourth priority: Hotels and guest houses, 5. Fifth priority: Dairies and bakeries, 6. Sixth priority: Catering and banquet halls, 7. Seventh priority: Dry cleaning and packaging units, 8. Eighth priority: Sports facilities and stadiums, commercial LPG cylinders. It will be supplied mainly in the form of 19 kg cylinders.
Government’s claim on gas shortage and rumors
