Railways has made this big change in view of the increasing crowd and long queues of trains, which will provide relief to the people coming to the station from the jam to a great extent.

In view of the increasing pressure of vehicles at the station and the daily traffic jams, the parking space has been increased to double. With the increase in space, the atmosphere of chaos in the station premises will reduce and people will be able to easily get space to park their vehicles. Railways has prepared two premium parking zones here to streamline the system. As soon as a vehicle enters the barrier, the driver will have the option to go to premium parking or normal parking as per his convenience.

The biggest relief in the new system has been given in the charges of pick-and-drop (picking and dropping of passengers). This facility will continue as before, but now the rules have been changed. If you exit the station premises within 8 minutes after entering, you will not have to pay any parking charge. This time is considered sufficient for the passengers to leave quickly. However, there will be a charge of Rs 50 for stopping for 8 to 15 minutes. Whereas, if the train stops for 15 to 30 minutes, then Rs 150 will have to be paid.
The burden has reduced compared to the old system, but you may have to pay a heavy fine for parking your vehicle for more than half an hour.
If compared with the old system, the burden on the pockets of those staying for short periods has been reduced. Earlier, Rs 200 was directly charged for stopping for 15 to 30 minutes, which has now been reduced to Rs 150. At the same time, if someone stays for more than 30 minutes, he will have to pay Rs 200 or more as the time increases. The main objective of this new system is that people should leave quickly after pick-dropping so that there is no jam. Those who want to wait longer should use the parking zone and those who have come only to drop the passengers can take advantage of the 8-minute free window to leave without paying.
