Google Pay’s New Pocket Money Feature
NPCI launched the UPI circle service last year. In this one UPI account can be used by 5 members. Google’s Pocket Money feature is also based on this. In the new feature of Google Pay, 5 members of the household will be able to link their accounts. The most special thing about this new feature is that even those members who do not have a bank account will be able to use the UPI service. How to setup pocket money feature in GPay?
- First of all you have to launch the Google Pay app on your smartphone.
- Now open the app and on the profile screen you will see the UPI circle option.
- Now tap on Setup Pocket Money.
- Now you have to select the name or number of the person whom you want to add to the feature.
- You have to scan the QR code of the UPI circle of the person whom you want to add to the UPI circle.

- Here you have to choose between the option of monthly limit or approve every payment.
- Now enter your details and secondary user information and Aadhaar number.
- Enter the UPI PIN here and submit the request.
- After the secondary user accepts the request, the pocket money service will start.
For security reasons, each primary member must verify the identity of the secondary member. For this it is necessary to enter the ID details of the secondary user. Banks keep these details in their records to track any fraudulent transactions.
