On the occasion of Unni Mukundan’s birthday, the makers of Marcohelmed by Haneef Adeni, dropped a new poster on Sunday. The poster shows the lead actor dressed in a black suit, with blood stains on both his face and clothes, wearing sunglasses. A cigarette hangs from his mouth as his right arm, covered in flames but still in the suit, holds the severed head of a bald man.
Marco also stars Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, Arjun Nandakumar, Durva Thaker, Yukti Tareja, Abhimanyu Shammy Thilakan, Ishan Shoukath, Siddique, Jagadish and Riyaz Khan, among others. On the technical front, the film has Chandru Selvaraj as the cinematographer, Shameer Muhammed as the editor, and KGF-fame Ravi Basrur as the music composer. It will also be dubbed into Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
Marco is a spin-off of the 2018 film Mikhaelalso directed by Haneef Adeni. In MikhaelNivin Pauly played the title role, while Unni portrayed the antagonist, Marco Jr. Reports suggest that the upcoming film will delve into Marco’s past and his entry into the world of crime. The filmmakers have described it as the most violent film ever made in Malayalam cinema. Marco is bankrolled by Shareef Muhammed and Abdul Gadhaf of Cubes Entertainments in association with the lead actor’s home production company, Unni Mukundan Films.
Meanwhile, Unni is awaiting the release of the comedy-drama Get-Set Babydirected by Vinay Govind, opposite Nikhila Vimal. Malikappuram actor’s upcoming slate also includes the long-delayed Mindiyum Paranjum and Gandharva Jr.
