New record in the name of Nitish Kumar; Former Chief Minister’s party JDU now has more than one crore members
JDU has made a big claim under the membership campaign 2025-28, saying that the party has achieved the target of making one crore primary members in less than six months. By June 2, 2026, the number of primary members of the party will exceed one crore.
Describing its membership campaign 2025-28 as a big success, Janata Dal United (JDU) has claimed that the party has achieved the target of making one crore primary members before the scheduled time. JDU working president Sanjay Jha said that by June 2, 2026, the total number of primary members has reached 1 crore 1 thousand 925.
The campaign started on December 6, 2025
‘JDU Membership Campaign 2025-28’ was launched by the party on December 6, 2025 under the leadership of JDU National President Nitish Kumar. The objective of the campaign was to strengthen the organization up to the booth level and to connect more and more people with the party.

JDU working president Sanjay Jha has praised the workers engaged in making the campaign successful up to the booth level. Also, gratitude has been expressed to the people of Bihar for the widespread response received to the membership campaign.
