New Royal Enfield Scram 440 launched in India, know the price and features…

New Delhi:- Retro-modern motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield has launched its first product for the year 2025. The company has launched the new Royal Enfield Scram 440 in the market. This motorcycle has been introduced in a total of two variants – Trail and Force, which are priced at Rs 2.08 lakh and Rs 2.15 lakh respectively.

Royal Enfield Scram 440 powertrain

The Scram 440 uses an air/oil-cooled, 443cc, single-cylinder engine, which produces 25 bhp of power and 34Nm of maximum torque. This big engine has been taken from the company's existing 411cc engine, in which its bore has been increased by 3mm.
Royal Enfield has paired the engine of the new Scram 440 with a 6-speed gearbox, while the 411cc engine is paired with a 5-speed unit. The company says that it has worked on reducing NVH levels by improving the SOHC valvetrain.

Royal Enfield Scram 440 Hardware

Royal Enfield has also strengthened the chassis of the Scram 440 and now a top box can be fitted at the rear of the motorcycle. The total payload of this top box is 10 kg. Switchable ABS and LED headlights are provided as standard in both variants of Scram 440. The motorcycle gets a 15-litre fuel tank and weighs 197 kg, which is 2 kg more than the Scram 411.

Royal Enfield Scram 440 color options

The company has made both variants of the motorcycle available in five color options, which include blue and green for the base Trail variant and blue, teal and gray for the top Force variant. Priced between Rs 2.08 lakh and Rs 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai), the new Scram 440 is Rs 2,000 – Rs 3,000 more expensive than the existing Scram 411.
