New rule implemented in UP schools from April 1, students will be banned from bringing mobile phones
According to information received from Lucknow, important changes are being made in the method of teaching in secondary schools from the upcoming academic session. In the new session starting from April, reading news has been made mandatory to make the morning prayer meeting more useful. Now students will read the main headlines of newspapers every day. You will also understand the meaning of the difficult words found in them and will also learn their correct usage. The aim of this initiative is to develop the habit of reading among students and strengthen their language ability.
decide the role of teachers
To implement this system, the role of teachers has also been decided as important. They have been instructed to teach students the correct pronunciation of news and also explain the meaning of complex words along with their sentence usage. This will increase the general knowledge of the students and strengthen their grip on the language. This decision has been taken to effectively implement the orders issued earlier, in which reading of news in schools was made mandatory.
Along with this, it has also been decided to completely ban the use of mobile phones in schools. The Council believes that excessive use of mobile phones at an early age has a negative impact on the mental, physical and moral development of children. This step has been taken especially in view of problems like eye problems, lack of attention in studies and addiction to online games. Students will not be allowed to bring mobile phones into the school premises, so that they can concentrate more on studies.
Digital education was not ignored
However, digital education has not been completely ignored. Students will be encouraged to use technology properly. Email IDs will be created for all registered students and they will be given information about its use. Besides, use of smart classes, information technology and online educational platforms will also be promoted.
Schools have been instructed to inform students about educational platforms like Khan Academy, The Teacher App, Manodarpan Portal and Career Advisor App and motivate them to use them. Through this new initiative, an attempt is being made to create a balance between traditional education and digital learning, so that students can take full advantage of both books and technology.
