This new SUV becomes cheaper by Rs 1.15 lakh, style is strong, features are also amazing
SUV Price Down: If you are thinking of buying a new SUV, then this opportunity can prove to be a profitable deal for you. Citroen India has offered a great offer on its coupe-style SUV Citroen Basalt. The company is giving a discount of up to Rs 1.15 lakh on this car, making its purchase quite affordable.
However, it is worth noting that recently its prices have also been increased. Earlier its initial ex-showroom price was Rs 8.15 lakh, which has now increased to Rs 8.55 lakh. According to different variants, the price has increased by about 40 thousand rupees.
Different identity in look and design
The design of Citroen Basalt makes it different from other SUVs. Its front look is largely inspired by the Citroen C3 Aircross. It has signature DRLs, stylish headlamps and bold grille, which gives it a premium look. At the same time, its side profile is its real specialty. The coupe-like sloping roofline and integrated spoiler give it a sporty and modern touch. Also, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels further enhance its beauty.
There is no shortage in features either
The interior of this SUV is quite practical and modern. It has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Special care has also been taken for the comfort of the rear passengers. It has adjustable under-thigh support, which makes long distance traveling comfortable. Apart from this, features like 15W wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and connected car technology also keep it ahead in terms of technology.
Engine options and performance
Two petrol engine options are offered in Citroen Basalt. The first is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine, which generates 81 bhp power and 115 Nm torque and comes with a manual gearbox. The second is a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, which produces 108 bhp and 195 Nm torque. Both manual and automatic transmission options are available in it.
