New Toll Charges: Traveling on this express has become expensive, now you will have to pay this much toll tax

Yamuna Expressway Toll Rates List: Traveling on Yamuna Expressway is soon going to become expensive. Yamuna Authority has approved the increase in toll rates in the board meeting. A 4 percent increase in toll tax has been approved in the meeting. The new rates will be applicable from October 1.

Earlier in March 2022, toll tax was increased on Delhi-Agra Yamuna Expressway. Last time there was an increase of 12 percent. After the implementation of the new rates, i.e. from October 1, the car toll tax from Greater Noida to Agra will be Rs 295 instead of Rs 270. At the same time, the toll of buses has been increased from Rs 895 to Rs 935 and the toll of oversize vehicles has been increased from Rs 1760 to Rs 1835.

Travel from Delhi to Agra in just 2.5 hours

Yamuna Expressway connects Delhi to Agra. This 165 kilometer long six-lane expressway passes through Mathura and Aligarh. It has been constructed by Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) and the contract has been awarded to Jaypee Infratech Limited.

With the construction of this expressway, a lot of time has been saved in the journey from Delhi to Agra. Earlier the journey from Delhi to Agra used to take about 4 hours, which has now become 2.5 hours. Apart from this, this expressway is also helping in reducing the traffic on Old GT Road and National Highway-2.
