If the police see that the helmet strap is not fastened during traffic checking, then a challan may be issued against you according to section 184D of the Motor Vehicles Act. In that case, the fine can range from 1000 to 2000 Rs.

Many people think that this is a new rule. But no, this law has been in place for a long time. Many people do not give importance to this issue only due to lack of awareness. And this rule is not only for collecting money, but also for safety, because, if the strap is blocked, the helmet can come off the head in an instant. Then wearing a helmet will not be of any use.
