New warmth in India-China relations on Diwali, soldiers of both countries distributed sweets to each other
New Delhi. On the occasion of Diwali, relations between India and China have started showing a lot of softening. After the border agreement and withdrawal of troops from the disputed points, a good picture has emerged between the two countries on the occasion of Diwali. In fact, on the occasion of Diwali on Thursday, soldiers of India and China exchanged sweets at several border points on the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

If media reports are to be believed, sweets were exchanged on Diwali between Indian and Chinese soldiers at five Border Personnel Meeting (BPM) points on the LAC. Its picture has come to light.
These pictures have come at a time when both the countries have successfully completed the separation process at the plains of Demchok and Depsang, two sensitive points in eastern Ladakh. When such pictures surfaced on the occasion of Diwali, it is being considered an important achievement from the diplomatic point of view.
