New Zealand Squad: The New Zealand team has been announced to face Sri Lanka in the T-20 and ODI series. The captaincy of the team in both the formats has been handed over to Mitchell Santner. 22 year old young batsman Bevan Jacobs has been called by the national team for the first time. The first three-match T-20 series will be played between the two teams, which will start from December 28. At the same time, the ODI series will start from January 5 and the last match is to be played on January 11.

Command in the hands of Santner
The command of the team has been handed over to Mitchell Santner for the T-20 and ODI series against Sri Lanka. As captain, Santner will have a golden opportunity to prove himself at home. Strong players like Rachin Ravindra, Glenn Phillips, Nathan Smith have been included in the T-20 team. Jacob Duffy has been included in both the T-20 and ODI teams. Tom Latham has not been selected in the team for the T20 series and will join the team in the ODI series. Along with Latham, Will Oruke and Will Young have also been given a chance in the ODI team. Mitch Haye, who set a T-20 record with his wicket-keeping skills during the Sri Lanka tour, has been included in the team for both formats.
