Newcastle United is looking forward to signing a centre-back in the January Transfer Window. Sergio Ramos is currently under the team’s target, as he’s currently a free agent and has already won the UEFA Champions League 4 times.
Newcastle United were not able to take advantage of the Summer Transfer Window due to the financial considerations of the team, due to which they were not able to get some good signings. However, the team is now looking forward to making some good additions with the help of the January Transfer Window.
In the Summer Transfer Window, they had to sell a few of their players, which further helped them to comply with the PSR. They were also not able to sign a centre-back, as the team went after the defender Marc Guehi for the transfer. He was among the top targets for the team but Crystal Palace rejected all the offers made by the team to keep Guehi to their club.
This move also showed that Newcastle United are eager to sign a centre-back in the upcoming Transfer Window also, as the day approaches. It has been reported that the team is looking forward to signing the four-time Champions League winner, Sergio Ramos, who is currently a free agent.
Ramos has been one of the best defenders for Real Madrid and his performances for the Spain national team have also been impressive for the team. Since he is currently available as a free agent, Newcastle United will be able to get him for less price.
