Even before the implementation of the new Labor Code in the country, there is an atmosphere of hope among workers and employers. Most workers are confident that workplace conditions will improve after the implementation of the new labor laws. Working hours will be fixed, there will be transparency in salary payments and the scope of social security will increase. In a big survey, it has been claimed that positive thinking is being formed at the grassroots level regarding labor reforms. Noida-based VV Giri National Labor Institute conducted this survey among workers and employers. According to the survey, about 60 percent of the workers believe that the new labor code will improve working conditions. 63 percent of workers expect the regulation of working hours to improve. This institute works under the Ministry of Labor and Employment. 5,720 workers and 715 employers were interviewed in the survey.
