Prayagraj Today (Monday, December 15) students are going to surround the UPPSC headquarters in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. From 11.00 am, students preparing for UPPSC are starting a great movement. In this sequence, students will protest by gheraoing Gate No. 2 of UPPSC.
These students are raising their voice against various irregularities taking place in competitive exams. Their demand is that students have raised various demands regarding exam pattern, irregularities in the calendar, transparency in results and answer keys. He says that on the lines of C (Union Public Service Commission), optional subjects should be removed from the main exam of UPPSC.
Big issue- change in exam pattern
In fact, students have been demanding for a long time that there are disparities in the way of giving marks in different optional subjects, due to which the students of a particular subject either benefit or suffer loss unnecessarily. In such a situation, optional subjects should be removed.
Apart from this, the students demanded that two new papers related to UP should be included in its place. Students of Uttar Pradesh will get more benefit from this. Also, students will get to read more about their state so that they can have better knowledge of administration, history, geography and culture.
Demand to increase the age limit also
There have been different demands of students regarding age limit and number of exam attempts in different recruitments of UPPSC. Apart from this, students have also expressed their displeasure over the exam calendar. He says that the Commission should definitely issue an annual calendar and follow it. Candidates preparing have to face problems due to frequent changes in exam dates. Then, the results of the examinations also do not come on time. Due to this, the recruitment process gets prolonged and students are not able to check their career options.
