BMC offers super specialty services, oncology and cardiology facilities along with neuro surgery.

Sea: After a long wait, super specialty services are going to start in Bundelkhand Medical College. Deputy Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and Minister in-charge of Sagar Rajendra Shukla visited Sagar on Saturday. He informed that while starting the super specialty services in Bundelkhand Medical College, first of all 3 posts have been sanctioned for Neuro Surgery.

After this, the facilities of oncology and cardiology are being expanded here. Madhya Pradesh government is going to equip its medical colleges and district hospitals with state-of-the-art facilities. Organ transplant facility will also be started in the medical college soon.

‘Approval of Neuro Surgery Department’

went on a sea tour Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla Said that “I am happy to give the good news that till now there was no super specialty department in Bundelkhand Medical College but now I have come among you with the approval of Neuro Surgery Department. Now there will be Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors in the Neuro Surgery Department and later super specialty faculty will be found here and courses will be started.”

‘Introduction to Oncology and Cardiology’

Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla informed that, “Under the CM Care scheme, Rs 70 crore has been sanctioned for the treatment of cancer here. Orders have been given for the purchase of PET scan and linear accelerator machine worth Rs 50 crore. Now cancer patients will get adequate facilities in the medical college and they will not need to go out. Construction of infrastructure is going on with the aim of increasing 250 seats in the medical college. Our effort is to provide state-of-the-art facilities in the district hospitals and medical colleges of the state. CM Care Under the plan, oncology and cardiology departments are going to be opened in every medical college.”

‘Organ transplant facility soon’

Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla Said that “We are also preparing to go towards organ transplant facilities. If any organ donor wants to donate organs, now he will not have to go out. We are going to provide organ transplant facilities in the old medical colleges of our state. If the family members of the brain dead person undergoing organ transplant give consent, then their organs will be transplanted and they will be given a guard of honour. Apart from this, the family members will be honored on 15th August and 26th January.
