Mahabubnagar. This is a very sad and disturbing incident that has come to light. The tragedy that occurred in Moosepet mandal of Mahabubnagar district has shocked the entire area. The 22-year-old girl’s boyfriend, 20-year-old Vivek, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
The incident took place on the night of 17th December, when the accused had called the girl to meet her. Police say that both of them already knew each other. Police investigation has revealed that the incident of sexual assault took place in a washroom. Then the girl suddenly became unconscious and started bleeding profusely. Then when the situation worsened, the accused and others took the girl to the hospital. However, the girl had died before reaching the hospital. Doctors declared him dead even before starting the treatment. After this incident, an atmosphere of tension and anger was created in the area. Based on the complaint of the deceased’s father, the police have registered a case. Police have registered a case against accused Vivek under relevant sections of Indian law.

Accused Vivek is currently in judicial custody and the police is interrogating him to connect the links of the incident.
