Congress divided on Digvijay Singh’s statement! Pawan Kheda mentioned ‘Godse’, got support from Tharoor

New Delhi. The matter of Congress MP Digvijay Singh praising RSS and BJP has increased the problems for the party. While clarifying his statement, Digvijay Singh has said that he is a staunch opponent of the ideology of the Sangh. However, the opinion of many leaders in the Congress seems to be divided on his statement.

Digvijay Singh had shared a photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior BJP leader LK Advani in a post on Saturday. Along with this, he had said that BJP-RSS give grassroots level workers an opportunity to reach top positions like Chief Minister and Prime Minister within the organization. It is noteworthy that in this picture, PM Modi is seen sitting on the ground.

In a sharp attack on RSS, Congress leader Pawan Kheda linked the RSS to Nathuram Godse, who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi in 1948. Pawan Kheda said, ‘There is nothing to learn from RSS. What can the infamous organization for Godse teach the organization founded by Gandhi?

Congress leader Manikam Tagore posted on X and said, ‘Nothing else can be learned from Godse’s organization except hatred. Congress is 140 years old, still young and fights against hatred. Along with this, Tagore shared a video of a football match in another post. In this video the player is seen scoring a goal in his goal post. He wrote on it that famous self goal. We have one.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said on Digvijay Singh’s statement, ‘I also want our organization to be strong. There should be discipline in our organization. Digvijay Singh himself is an example of this. Along with this, Shashi Tharoor said, ‘Our party has a history of 140 years. We can learn a lot from this. We can learn many things from ourselves also. Discipline is a very important thing.

Meanwhile, party spokesperson Supriya Shrinet said, ‘BJP is distorting his statements. We do not need to learn anything from RSS. We fought the freedom struggle against the British Raj and its injustice. We turned it into a mass movement, so we don’t need to learn anything from anyone; Rather, people should learn from Congress.
