Humayun, who is building Babri Masjid, challenged Kabir… said – this is not Ayodhya, this is Murshidabad.

Kolkata. Suspended Trinamool Congress MLA Humayun Kabir is getting the Babri Masjid constructed in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. For this, the foundation stone of the mosque was also laid recently, in which program Maulvis were invited from Saudi Arabia. Now Kabir says that this mosque will be ready within three years and no political power can stop it. Kabir told that its construction work will start from early February next year.

Humayun Kabir said, “This is not Ayodhya, it is Murshidabad. This is my challenge. No one can come here and touch the Babri Masjid.” In fact, on December 6, 1992, Babri Masjid was demolished in Ayodhya, UP, due to which Kabir also laid the foundation of Babri Masjid in Bengal. Within a few days, Kabir has received donations worth crores for this.

He said, “I had taken this decision in 1992 when Babri Masjid was demolished. But when in 2019 the Supreme Court gave the land to Ram Mandir and not to Babri Masjid, I firmly decided that now Babri Masjid will be built in Murshidabad. I have nothing to do with Babar. I named it Babri Masjid because people still feel pain. If it is right to say ‘Jai Shri Ram’ during elections, then ‘Allah Hu It is also correct to say ‘Akbar’.”

Kabir further told that two crore rupees have been received for the construction of the mosque and this money is kept in our house. We have taken 25 bighas of land and the paperwork is going on. Preparations will begin in February and the mosque will be completed in three years. Friday prayers will be offered here every week and lakhs of bricks have already arrived.”

Earlier last week, hundreds of people had offered Friday prayers at the site of the proposed Babri Masjid in Murshidabad district. Since morning, people from nearby villages started coming to the fields leading to the construction site. As the time for namaz approached, the organizers directed the growing crowd through loudspeakers. Long queues of Namazis were seen passing through the fields.
