PM Modi presented ‘MANAV’ vision, know what it is
New Delhi: On Thursday, PM Modi inaugurated the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in the country’s capital New Delhi. On this occasion, the PM presented India’s grand ‘MANAV Vision’ for Artificial Intelligence, which described a human-minded framework for ethical, accountable and inclusive AI governance.
While addressing all the CEOs of AI companies around the world, Prime Minister Modi emphasized on the right direction of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Let us tell you, while addressing the delegates at the summit being organized in the national capital, the Prime Minister said that today in the AI Impact Summit, I present the MANAV vision for AI. MANAV means human being.
PM Modi said that MANAV vision will serve as a guiding framework for the global AI ecosystem. He said that this MANAV vision of India will become an essential link for the well-being of humanity in the AI-based world of the 21st century. Highlighting concerns about emerging threats, the Prime Minister stressed the need for stronger safeguards, especially for children. He said that we have to be more careful about the safety of children. AI space should also be safe for children and family-friendly.
Apart from this, PM Modi said that this vision reflects the changing technological environment. He said that we are moving into an era where humans and intelligent systems work together and move forward together. Emphasizing on India’s growing capabilities in this sector, he said that India sees a strong future in AI. We have talent, energy capacity and policy clarity. The Prime Minister also announced new domestic innovations in the summit. He said that I am happy to tell you all that three Indian companies have launched their AI models and apps in this summit. These models showcase the talent of our youth.
Inviting global cooperation, PM Modi appealed to technology leaders and innovators to partner with India. He said that I invite all of you to design and develop in India and take it to the world and humanity. India AI Impact Summit 2026 has brought together government policymakers, industry AI experts, academics, technology innovators and civil society from around the world in New Delhi to advance the global discussion on Artificial Intelligence.
India AI Impact Summit is the first global AI summit to be held in the Global South. It showcases the transformative potential of AI with the national vision of ‘Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaay’ (good for all, happiness for all) and the global principle of AI for Humanity. This summit is part of a developing international process that aims to strengthen global cooperation on the governance, safety and social impact of AI.
