Swami Maharaj embodied the Vedic principle of seeing Narayana in man
New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, head of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, participated in the Varni Amrit Mahotsav organized in New Delhi. On this occasion, Union Minister Shah said that BAPS chief Swami Maharaj combined devotion and service and realized the Vedic principle of seeing Narayana in man. He credited Pramukh Swami Maharaj for making spirituality and Vaishnav philosophy comprehensive and practical. According to Shah, Pramukh Swami Maharaj revived the ancient sage culture of improving the lives of others through karma and compassion and did great work for Sanatan Dharma. Without giving any specific teaching, he established the essence of sainthood in various sects of Sanatan Dharma. The three-day event has been organized at the Sabarmati Riverfront to commemorate 75 years of Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s appointment as the President of BAPS in 2025. Apart from Shah, others including BAPS chief Mahant Swami Maharaj and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel were present at the event.
