Army Chief said, there will be a befitting reply to any audacity of the enemy

New Delhi. Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has spoken openly about Operation Sindoor. He cautioned Pakistan and said that Operation Sindoor is still going on. If any kind of audacity is done, a befitting reply will be given. He further said that since May 10, the situation in Western Front and Jammu and Kashmir remains sensitive, but is completely under control.

‘Were prepared for ground attack inside Pakistan’

General Upendra Dwivedi said, ‘The three armies had attacked cross-border terrorism with excellent coordination. This was India’s thoughtful and strong response to terrorism. Preparation and accuracy were visible in this. At that time all the soldiers of the army were gathered and were ready for ground attacks inside Pakistan.

‘8 terrorist camps near the border are still active’

Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi said that 8 terrorist camps are still active near the border. If any action takes place, strict action will be taken. General Dwivedi said, ‘May 10, the situation in the Western Front and Jammu and Kashmir remains sensitive, but is completely under control. In 2025, 31 terrorists were eliminated, 65% of whom were from Pakistan, including 3 attackers of the Pahalgam attack killed in Operation Mahadev. Now the number of active local terrorists is in single digits. There are clear signs of positive change in Jammu and Kashmir, including strong development activities, resumption of tourism and peaceful Shri Amarnath Yatra, which saw over 4 lakh pilgrims. The theme of terrorism to tourism is slowly taking shape.

‘The situation on LAC is under control’

Also discussed the ongoing border dispute with China regarding General Dwivedi Border. He said, ‘If we talk about Line of Actual Control, we are gradually trying to build our trust factor. An agreement was signed between the two countries on 21 October. Before this, both the big leaders had met in Kazan. During this time our SR level meeting has taken place. Our Defense Minister has met his Defense Minister. Foreign ministers of both the countries have met. Many levels of discussion have taken place between us. Our aim is to resolve the issues as soon as possible.
