Trainee IPS officers paid courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma
Raipur : A delegation of trainee Indian Police Service (IPS) officers today paid courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma at his residence. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Sharma discussed various topics related to law and order, administrative efficiency and modern policing of the state with the trainee officers.

Deputy Chief Minister Sharma, while congratulating the trainee officers for their bright future, said that working with honesty, sensitivity and spirit of service is the identity of a successful police officer. He said that law and order can be strengthened only through public trust based policing.
The representative team included IG Ajay Yadav, SP Abhishek Pallav and SSP Pankaj Shukla, trainee IPS officers Aditya Kumar, Suanshika Jain, Prateek Dadasaheb and Sumansi. The trainee officers also shared their training experiences with Deputy Chief Minister Sharma.
The Deputy Chief Minister expected the trainee officers to give top priority to prompt resolution of public problems, fair enforcement of law and protection of human rights during field posting. He said that the state government is continuously making efforts to make the police force modern, efficient and people-oriented.
