Ujjain: Facility of cashless donation in Mahakal temple, devotees are cooperating through QR code.
Devotees coming from all over the country are now donating in large numbers through cashless medium in the world famous Jyotirlinga Mahakal temple. Keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, the temple committee has installed QR codes in the donation counters and various parts of the temple premises, through which devotees can easily donate from anywhere. This initiative has not only simplified the donation process but is also saving time.

The objective of the temple committee is to provide maximum cashless facilities to the devotees coming for Mahakal darshan. Online booking of Bhasma Aarti and arrangements for early darshan tickets are already being done through e-wallet. Along with this, cashless payment facility has also been started at Laddu Prasad counter, Mahakaleshwar and Harsiddhi Dharamshala, Annakshetra and donation counters. Through the QR code installed in the temple premises, devotees from any corner of the country are able to donate without standing in queue.
Cash payment system along with caseless facility
However, keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, the system of cash payment has also been continued in the temple. Sometimes there may be problem in digital payment due to network or technical reasons, in such a situation both cash and cashless options will be available at the Laddu Prasad counters, so that there is no inconvenience in the darshan and arrangements.
