Case of death due to eating unclaimed sweets, sensation in Chhindwara

Chhindwara. These days, unclaimed sweets are becoming a curse for the people in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. So far, three people have lost their lives due to consuming it and many people have been admitted to the hospital. Due to this incident there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area.

What is the whole matter of unclaimed sweets?

Actually, the matter is near the office of Public Health Engineering Department located at Junnardev in Chhindwara district. Here a clean bag was kept near a tea stall. Raw vegetables and sweets were kept in this bag. PHE department watchman Dasaru Yaduvanshi opened the bag, took out sweets from the box and ate it. When he reached home, his health started deteriorating. The watchman started vomiting, after which he was admitted to the hospital. Where Dasaru Yaduvanshi died on January 11 during treatment.

The one who ate sweets became ill

Whoever ate the unclaimed sweets, his health deteriorated. On January 10, Santoshi Kathuria, wife of Mukesh Kathuria, who runs a tea stall, took home a bag containing sweets and vegetables. Fed sweets to the family members, due to which their health deteriorated. Due to this, Santoshi’s father-in-law Sunderlal Kathuria (72 years) died on 13 January. Apart from this, Santoshi and Mukesh’s daughter Khushboo was referred to Nagpur when her health deteriorated. Where he died during treatment on January 14. At the same time, other members of the Kathuria family are admitted in the hospital, whose treatment is going on. The condition is said to be out of danger.

Chhindwara Additional Superintendent of Police Ashish Khare has confirmed the death of three people due to eating unclaimed sweets. Police say that all aspects are being investigated. Earlier it was being considered a case of food poisoning. Now it is being considered by combining it with other possibilities. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, after which a conclusion will emerge. Samples of sweets have been sent for testing.
