Bhopal : Former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Late in Gwalior, the historical land of Madhya Pradesh. On the 101st birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, an exhibition on the topic “Investment to Employment-Atal Sankalp” was organized at the venue of “Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh Growth Summit”. Chief guest of the summit, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the exhibition. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar and senior MLA and State President Hemant Khandelwal and other public representatives were also with him in the summit.

Major industrial projects of the state like Singaji Thermal Power Project, Electr PVC Plywood Unit of Malanpur Bhind, Pithampur Auto Hub and Bhopal Food Park are also displayed in it. Along with this, innovation, entrepreneurship and opportunities available to the youth were also showcased through stories of successful start-ups working in areas like drone technology and agritech.

One District-One products were also displayed

In the exhibition, products like opium of Mandsaur, handicrafts of Maihar, Tinkeera rice of Chhindwara under One District One Product Scheme ODOP were displayed. Also, among the GI tagged products, Lahsuniya red gram of Vidisha, Kakad Haat rice of Balaghat, local mustard products of Morena and GI tagged Gajak of Morena and famous GI tagged Belmetal work of Datia were included.

The unwavering resolve to link investment with employment was presented in a strong form in the summit’s exhibition. Madhya Pradesh has been displayed as continuously moving towards sustainable and inclusive development through industrial development, innovation and promotion of local products.
