News – TVS introduces India's first CNG scooter
New Delhi . Two-wheeler manufacturer TVS introduced its new TVS Jupiter CNG scooter, which is India's first CNG scooter. This scooter has been launched at the Auto Expo 2025 under the company's Bharat Mobility 2025 project and comes with both petrol and CNG fuel options.
TVS Jupiter CNG has a single cylinder engine with a capacity of 124.8 cc, which generates power of 5.3 kW and torque of 9.4 Newton meters. The top speed of this scooter can reach 80.5 kilometers per hour and it can travel up to 84 kilometers on one kilogram of CNG. It can be run with both petrol and CNG fuel, due to which it can cover a distance of 226 kilometers. It comes with many best-in-class features, including the largest seat in the segment, max metal body, external fuel lid, front mobile charger, semi digital speedometer, body balance technology, eTFI and IntelliGO technology, all in one lock and engine with side stand indicator. Inhibitors are included. Although TVS has not yet officially announced the launch date of this scooter, it is expected that it may be available in the market in the next three to six months. It is estimated that its ex-showroom price at the time of launch could be around Rs 1 lakh. TVS Jupiter CNG has been introduced with a new technology, and has no direct competitor.
