New Delhi: Amid massive anticipation, the News9 Global Summit has begun in Germany’s Stuttgart city with a clear focus on sustainable development and Indo-German cooperation. The summit that will continue for three days from November 21-23. Policymakers from India, innovators, industry leaders from Germany will be among the participants.
The summit is taking place at the iconic MHP Arena. The mega summit will kickstart with the address of TV9 MD and CEO Mr. Barun Das.
The summit is spearheaded by TV9 Network, India’s leading news powerhouse, and co-hosted by Bundesliga’s VfB Stuttgart. The theme of this Magnum Opus summit is “India and Germany: A Roadmap for Sustainable Growth”.

The summit is bringing together prominent policymakers, thinkers, industry leaders to bring about a roadmap for sustainable development and shared prosperity. The News9 Global Summit is backed by Germany’s Baden-Württemberg state, whose capital Stuttgart is hosting the event.

PM Modi’s keynote address key feature of summit
The event is graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will give a special virtual keynote address which is likely to underscore the importance of crucial initiative. PM Narendra Modi had also graced ‘What India Thinks Today’ summit which took place between February 25-26 this year in New Delhi.
Two Indian Ministers to address summit
Two senior Union ministers—Ashwini Vaishnaw (Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Railways, and MeITY), and Jyotiraditya Scindia (Union Minister for Communications and Development of the North East Region)—are attending the event in person.
Themes of summit
The summit is having multiple sessions with policymakers, innovators and industry leaders who discuss outlines of cooperation between India and Germany in different fields.
The session-‘India & Germany: Connected for Durable Growth’ will discuss the potential of India-German cooperation in utilising their strengths in engineering and technology for long-term economic growth.
