News9 Global Summit: Noted panelists to discuss skill development on Day 2

New Delhi: The much-awaited News9 Global Summit is all set to take place in the German city of Stuttgart from November 21 to 23. The three-day event will be held in the city’s iconic iconic MHP Arena. While the summit is being organised by TV9 Network and co-hosted by Bundesliga’s VfB Stuttgart. The global summit is all set to witness participation from various key figures from India and Germany from various walks of life including, sports, politics, business and entertainment.

The summit is being organised under the theme ‘India and Germany: A roadmap for sustainable growth’. The event aims to further deepen the ties between India and Germany, with a particular focus on international partnerships and sustainable development. The event will focus on how both countries can collaborate to achieve sustainable growth. The summit will focus on various aspects on the issue. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the key address virtually on November 22 on the theme, ‘India: Inside The Global Bright Spot’.

Group MD and CEO Barun Das shares message

Sharing details about the summit, Barun Das, TV9 Network MD and CEO, said, “Germany, Europe’s largest economy and a strategic partner in the region for India, is the first destination for TV9’s News Global Summit. Discussions on skill developments

The discussions on the topic, ‘Bridging The Skill Gap: Crafting a Win-Win’ will be held on the second day of the summit. Among those who will participate at the event include Ajit Isaac (MD, Quess Corp), Pankaj Bansal (founder, PeopleStrong), Jonas Marggraf (MD, Fintiba), and Seigmer Nesch (Board Member, Barmer Insurance). Notably, the decade-long partnership between India’s State Bank of India and Germany’s State of Baden-Württemberg have played crucial role skill development for various stakeholders over the years. Several initiatives are also being further implemented for the recruitment and training of Indian skilled workers in Germany.
Scindia, Vishnaw to attend the event too

Union Ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia and Ashwini Vaishnaw will also participate at the three-day event. While Minister of Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, will deliver an inaugural keynote, the Communications Minister will deliver a speech on the topic, ‘Sustainable Development: Lessons from India’s North-East’.
