Next 48 hours are heavy! Rain and hailstorm again in Delhi-NCR, ‘Orange alert’ of snowfall on mountains; Know the condition of 10 states including Punjab and Rajasthan

The weather has suddenly taken a turn in different states including the country’s capital Delhi. Unseasonal rains have provided relief from the heat in different states including Delhi, UP, Jharkhand. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature in Delhi on Tuesday is expected to be 16 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature will be 31 degrees Celsius. There will be light clouds in the sky, due to which the weather will remain pleasant. However, IMD has indicated that after two days i.e. on Thursday, the weather may change once again and light rain with thunder may be seen.

How is the weather of Rajasthan?

The effect of western disturbance is clearly visible in many areas including the capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur. During the last 24 hours, light rain was recorded in some parts of the state, in which Bhadra (Hanumangarh) recorded the highest rainfall of 9 mm. A drop in temperature was recorded in Jaipur since morning due to drizzle, clouds and winds. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain in Bharatpur and Kota divisions even today, while the weather is likely to remain dry in the rest of the areas.

IMD says that there may be light rain again in eastern and northern parts of Rajasthan on March 26-27. Apart from this, a new and strong western disturbance will be active between March 28 and 31, due to which there are chances of thunderstorm and rain in many areas of the state.

What is the condition of hill states?

If we talk about North-West India, there may be light to moderate rain and snowfall in high altitude areas in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand between March 26 and 28. During this period, strong winds with a speed of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour are also expected. The effect of rain and strong winds can also be seen in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on 26 and 29 March.

Rain alert in these states also

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain at many places in Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh between March 24 and 28, along with thunderstorms and strong winds. An alert of heavy rain has also been issued in some areas.

Eastern Indian states like Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal may also see rain, thunderstorms and strong winds between March 26 and 29. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in some areas. There is a possibility of light rain in Central India on March 26 and 27, while Maharashtra will see a change in weather during March 24-25. Light rain with thunderstorms and strong winds is also forecast in many parts of South India.
