Next-Generation Hyundai Creta Interior Leaked

Everyone is excited for the launch of the next-generation Hyundai Creta mid-size SUV. And now, the interior design of this highly anticipated SUV has been leaked online. The latest spy images give us a clear look at the dashboard layout of the upcoming next-generation Creta, which will boast Hyundai’s latest Pleos Connect system. Unlike the current model, the new Hyundai Creta will evolve into a Software Defined Vehicle (SDV).

First off, let’s start with the dashboard layout of the upcoming Hyundai Creta. We can note that the main highlight of the cabin will be the same massive freestanding 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system. All of the essential information will be provided by this screen, and it boasts Hyundai’s next-generation Pleos Connect system, which we have recently seen on the Ioniq 3 and the Grandeur, which was launched in South Korea.

In addition to this large central touchscreen, the driver will also get a screen in front. However, it will not be as large. Instead, it will be a very sleek and compact screen directly in the line of sight of the driver. This setup will provide the new Creta with a much cleaner, more minimalistic, and sophisticated dashboard layout, which looks very futuristic.

Other notable highlights of the upcoming Hyundai Creta will include the new Gleo AI assistant and a modular app marketplace. With these, the vehicle will offer smarter voice interactions, a customisable in-car experience, and app-based feature expansion, as we see on our smartphones.

The next-generation Creta will also be getting advanced OTA (Over-The-Air) updates, which will include Operating System (OS) upgrades, powertrain tuning, and suspension adjustments. Additionally, it has been highlighted that the gear selector has been moved from the centre console to the steering column (shift-by-wire stalk). This will help in freeing up space in the centre console and offer a much cleaner appearance.

From what we can note in the spy images, the new Creta will also be getting premium, high-quality materials on the dashboard and overall cabin. We can expect a lot of soft-touch materials and other elegant elements that will add to the premiumness of this Creta’s cabin. Most likely, we will also be seeing newly designed seats, which will be powered as well as offer ventilation.

Apart from these, the next-generation Creta will most likely be offered with a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charging pad, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ADAS Level 2, a 360-degree camera, and many other modern-day creature comfort features.

Apart from the interior, the exterior spy shots of the upcoming Hyundai Creta have also been shown. It can be noted that, due to being based on the new K3 platform, the new Hyundai Creta has grown in size. It now looks a lot more butch and boasts a proper SUV-like stance. Notable highlights include a new front fascia with a large grille, ADAS Level 2 sensor, new LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, a new 4-dot Hyundai logo, and many others.

It has also been noted from the spy shots that the new Hyundai Creta will be getting a new multi-link rear suspension as well. Apart from it, the SUV (most likely the higher-spec variants) will also get an AWD system. Moving to the powertrain options, the Creta is expected to carry forward the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engine options.

However, the spy shots have revealed that displays showed battery status and energy flow, which gives us a hint that the upcoming Creta will be getting a strong hybrid powertrain. Most likely, it will be based on the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and get a small battery pack along with an electric motor. However, more details will be revealed soon.

As per reports, the new-generation Hyundai Creta is expected to make its debut later this year or by early 2027. Once launched, it will most likely continue to dominate the Indian mid-size SUV segment, in which it currently leads comfortably. Its rivals include the newly launched Tata Sierra, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq facelift, Volkswagen Taigun facelift, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and many others.
