National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, has announced recruitment for Deputy Manager (Technical) posts (NHIDCL Recruitment 2026). The number of vacant posts is 85. 36 posts have been reserved for General, 13 for SC, 6 for ST, 22 for OBC NCL and eight for EWS candidates. Whereas the number of vacancies for PH/PwBD candidates is two. No information regarding application fee has been given in the notification.

Who can apply?

To apply, candidates must have a degree in Civil Engineering from any recognized university or institute. Apart from this, it is also mandatory to pass GATE 2024/ 2025/2026 exam. The prescribed age limit for General Category candidates is maximum 34 years as on 8 June 2026. OBC NCL will be given relaxation up to 3 years, SC/ST up to 5 years, PWD candidates up to 10 years and Ex-Serviceman (General) up to 5 years.

Selection Process and Salary

Candidates will be selected on the basis of valid GATE score. No separate written examination will be conducted. If two or more candidates obtain equal marks, date of birth will be used for tie breaking. Those who are older will be given preference. If the date of birth is also the same, then in such a situation the alphabetical order of the first name given in the class 10th certificate will be used. Selected candidates will have to undergo medical test and obtain medical fitness certificate from the Medical Board of State or Central Government Hospital. The pay scale after appointment will be Rs 50,000-3%-Rs 1,60,000 per month.
