NIA court issues warrant against Sadhvi Pragya in Malegaon blast case, problems of former MP will increase
New Delhi: NIA court has issued a bailable warrant against Sadhvi Pragya Singh in the 2008 Malegaon blast case of Maharashtra. The hearing of this case is going on in the court. Pragya has been an accused in the Malegaon blast case and was granted bail after spending several years in jail. Now the court has summoned him once again. However, the matter of relief for Pragya Singh is that this warrant is bailable.
On September 29, 2008, six people were killed and more than 100 were injured when an explosive device strapped to a scooter exploded near a mosque in Malegaon city of northern Maharashtra, about 200 km from Mumbai. A case has been registered against Pragya Thakur, Lieutenant Colonel Prasad Purohit and five others for their alleged involvement in the blast conspiracy.

Special Judge A.K. The trial is in its final stages with Lahoti recording the final statements of the accused and the accused have been charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The case was initially investigated by the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) Maharashtra and was handed over to the NIA in 2011.
Threat to blow up the court itself
On the other hand, the special court hearing the 2008 Malegaon blast case has received bomb threats. A government lawyer gave this information on Tuesday. The government lawyer said that on October 30, an unknown person had called the Registrar office of the Sessions Court and threatened to plant a bomb in Court Room No. 26.

The special NIA court hearing the blast case sits in Court Room No. 26 of the Civil and Sessions Court complex in south Mumbai. The lawyer said that we have given information about the matter to Colaba Police Station. A police officer said they are verifying the details but no FIR has been registered yet.
