Niall Horan just got embarrassed with his own comment about One Direction fragrance Our Moment.
The 32-year-old Irish actor is currently doing press and interview for the release of his new album Dinner Party, which is coming out this Friday.
The Slow Hands singer appeared for a fun chat with Cosmopolitan, where he played a game called Expensive Taste Test.
In the segment, he was provided with two options of multiple products like chicken, cowboy hats, guitars and other things, out of which he had to guess which according to him is expensive and cheap.
Niall was presented two perfumes without the labels. To him, the first looked and smelled cheap as he said, “This one is Febreze for bathroom.”
Before moving on the next scent, Horan said, “Oh, this also feels cheap.”
But when the somebody from behind the cameras asked him if he recognizes it, This Town singer immediately realized, “Maybe I shouldn’t have said that cuz now I know exactly what it is.”
He does two puffs in the air and smells it while saying, “Katy Perry brought one out years ago or was it Britney?”
Niall instantly felt nostalgic as he confessed, “Oh, I know that smell. I was in the meetings. I know exactly what this is. This is Our Moment by One Direction. We made this in 2013 or 14 maybe.”
“It was actually really interesting to be a part of that. Like going through all the different notes and they gave us all these different sprays, and we were able to concoct our own perfume.”
It turns out Niall was right, Our Moment was still the most expensive perfume out of the two options provided.
