Nicholas Galitize to feature in ‘Masters of the Universe’ along with Idris Elba

Nicholas Galitzine has unveiled the kind of dedication and commitment he put in for the upcoming movie, Masters of the Universe.

The Idea of You star will be playing He-Man, a Mattel character many people grew up playing with.

To play the strongest man on the universe, the 31-year-old had to bulk up and that required months of extreme training, work outs and strict diet plans.

Nicholas, while talking about his journey, reflected that he gave his all in to do this film.

In conversation with SFX magazine, Nicholas added, “I came in for about five months of pre-production. I would’ve loved more time in the gym and learning stunts, but I made it work.”

He confessed spending three hours a day in a gym and three to four hours sitting in the make up chair to get ready for the character.

Galitzine opened, “I was in the gym for about three hours a day and I was in stunt training for about two hours every day. There would be three to four hours of make-up and costume every day, too. It was a life.”

Directed by Travis Knight, Masters of the Universe also features Alison Brie, Idris Elba, Jared Leto, and Camila Mendes.

The much-awaited Mattel movie is coming to theatres on June 5.
