Nifty 50 top gainers today, December 19: Shriram Finance, Max Healthcare, Bharat Electronics, Tata Motors PV, Power Grid and more

Indian equity benchmarks ended Friday’s session on a firm footing, with the Nifty closing above the 25,900 mark on December 19. The Sensex rose 447.55 points, or 0.53 percent, to settle at 84,929.36, while the Nifty gained 150.85 points, or 0.58 percent, to end at 25,966.40.

Buying interest was visible across select heavyweights, leading to gains in several Nifty 50 constituents.  Here are the top gainers from the Nifty 50 index (as per Trendline).

Shriram Finance ended the session higher by 4.1%, closing at ₹905.1.

Max Healthcare closed 2.6% higher at ₹1,076.

Bharat Electronics gained 2.5% to finish at ₹393.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles advanced by 2.4%, ending at ₹354.2.

Power Grid Corporation rose 2.1%, closing at ₹263.3.

Bajaj Auto moved up 1.9% to settle at ₹9,000.

Eicher Motors increased by 1.7%, ending the day at ₹7,229.5.

Jio Financial Services closed 1.7% higher at ₹297.2.

Apollo Hospitals added 1.5%, finishing at ₹7,022.

Reliance Industries gained 1.3%, closing at ₹1,564.9.
