Nifty 50 top gainers today, Feb 18: Kwality Wall, HDFC Life, Tata Steel, ITC, Tata Consumer Products and more

Indian equity benchmarks closed higher on February 18, with the Nifty settling above the 25,800 mark. The Sensex advanced 283.29 points or 0.34% to end at 83,734.25, while the Nifty gained 93.95 points or 0.37% to close at 25,819.35.

Among the top gainers in the Nifty pack, Kwality Wall’s (India) ended 4.9% higher at ₹29.3. HDFC Life Insurance rose 3.4% to close at ₹729.6, while Tata Steel added 2.9% to settle at ₹209.0.

ITC gained 2.2% to close at ₹332.5. Tata Consumer Products moved up 1.9% to ₹1,169.7, and Bajaj Auto advanced 1.6% to end at ₹9,980.0.

Among financial stocks, Axis Bank climbed 1.5% to ₹1,377.0. Nestle India rose 1.3% to ₹1,301.9, while Reliance Industries also gained 1.3% to close at ₹1,441.3.

Mahindra & Mahindra ended 1.2% higher at ₹3,530.5.

The broader market tone remained positive through the session, with gains in metal, financial and consumer stocks supporting the indices at close.
