Nifty 50 top gainers today, March 24: INDIGO, L&T, Bajaj Finance, Eternal, Asian Paints and more

Indian equity benchmarks ended on a strong note on March 24, with the Sensex rising 1.89% to 74,068.45 and the Nifty gaining 1.98% to close at 22,957.80finishing above the 22,900 mark.

The upward move in the indices was supported by broad-based buying across sectors, with several large-cap stocks posting notable gains by the close.

Among the top gainers on the Nifty:

InterGlobe Aviation closed at ₹4,162.0, up 5.5%emerging as one of the biggest contributors to the rally.

Larsen & Toubro ended at ₹3,515.1, higher by 5.2%supported by buying interest in infrastructure stocks.

Bajaj Finance settled at ₹853.0, gaining 5.0% during the session.

Eternal rose 4.9% to close at ₹238.1.

Asian Paints added 4.7%ending at ₹2,220.5.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise closed at ₹7,433.5, up 4.0%.

UltraTech Cement gained 4.0% to settle at ₹10,771.0.

Tech Mahindra ended at ₹1,433.0, rising 3.5%.

Kotak Mahindra Bank closed at ₹368.5, up 3.4%.

Shriram Finance advanced 3.4% to ₹907.1.
