Nifty 50 top losers today, March 2: INDIGO, L&T, Adani Ports, Maruti Suzuki India, Asian Paints and more

Indian equity benchmarks ended lower on March 2, with the Nifty 50 closing at 24,865.70, down 312.95 points or 1.24%. The Sensex declined 1.29%, reflecting broad-based weakness across sectors. Several heavyweight stocks emerged as top losers in the index by percentage decline at close.

InterGlobe Aviation was the biggest drag among Nifty 50 constituents. The stock closed at ₹4,533.00, down 6.1%.

Larsen & Toubro ended at ₹4,054.00, falling 5.2% during the session.

Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone settled at ₹1,468.90, declining 3.4% at close.

Maruti Suzuki India closed at ₹14,368.00, down 3.3%.

Asian Paints ended the day at ₹2,303.00, registering a 3.1% fall.

Tata Motors finished at ₹371.30, down 3.0%.

Bajaj Finserv closed at ₹1,935.00, declining 2.9%.

Shriram Finance ended at ₹1,048.10, also down 2.9%.

Eicher Motors settled at ₹7,809.00, slipping 2.5%.

Jio Financial Services closed at ₹249.10, down 2.5%.
