Nine railway stations of Bhopal Railway Division got green certification

Bhopal. Nine railway stations of Bhopal Railway Division of West Central Railway have received green certification. Railway officials said that after the ISO certification, passengers at these railway stations will now get more clean and green atmosphere than before. The department has issued a notification through RBI for this.

Nine railway stations of Bhopal Railway Division have received green certification. This includes Bhopal, Bina, Itarsi, Ganjbasoda, Guna, Narmadapuram, Sanchi, Shivpuri, Vidisha. High hygiene standards have been adopted at these stations. This ISO certificate environmental management system certificate is given to passengers for environmental quality, sanitation, water conservation and better management of energy efficiency. According to officials, the railway administration has promoted the use of scientific disposal of solid and liquid waste, recycling, energy savings and renewable energy. Regular cleaning system has been strictly implemented to ensure hygiene on platforms. Also, water is being saved by adopting water conservation measures.
