This is the same Asura, who gets the fate of marrying Tulsi (Geet Jain) due to the curse given by Lord Ganesha. Neglected and deprived of love since childhood, Sindhurasur later becomes a powerful and cruel ruler. His presence adds a deep, serious and mysterious color to the story.

Talking about his character, actor Nirbhay Wadhwa says, “When I first read about Sindhurasur, what touched me the most was that his story begins not with power, but with pain. He is not just a demon, but a man who has never been accepted. It is this emotional base that makes him different from a typical villain. I still remember my first scene, when I was standing in heavy armor and the director said to me – ‘All that stuff. Feel the burden that was taken away from him. At that very moment I understood him. Playing Sindhurasur is not just a matter of displaying anger or strength, but a story of carrying within oneself a lifetime of pain, which ultimately takes the form of terror. This is one of my most layered characters till date and I am glad that the audience will see the entire tone of the story changing with her entry.”
