This year the fast of Nirjala Ekadashi is being observed on 25 June 2026, Thursday. This year Ekadashi tithi started on 24 June 2026 at 8:09 pm and will end on 25 June 2026 at 9:14 pm. According to Udaya Tithi, the fast is being observed on 25th June. The fast will be broken on Friday, June 26, 2026, between 5:25 am to 8:13 am.

On the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, take bath in the morning and wear clean and yellow clothes. After this, bathe the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu with Ganga water and Panchamrit. Offer sandalwood, Akshat, yellow flowers and basil leaves to God. Offer sugar candy, fruits and other satvik items. Chanting the mantra “Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya” throughout the day is considered auspicious. Besides, bhajan-kirtan and recitation of religious texts can also be done.
