This new compact MPV of the company will be known as Nissan Gravit. This car is not only going to be a big hit in the budget segment, but it will also be a great option for families who want more space at a lower price.

What is special in this?

Nissan Gravit is built on the platform of Renault Triber. Today, during a virtual event, the company has shared the first glimpse of this car. The design of Gravit is very muscular and bold. ‘GRAVITE’ is written in big letters on its bonnet, which gives it a premium look. It has Nissan’s signature grille and sharp LED lighting.

This will be a proper 7-seater car, in which the third row seats can also be removed if needed. It is expected to get a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which will generate approximately 72 hp power and 96 Nm torque.

Launch date and price?

This Nissan car will be available for sale in showrooms by March 2026. This car will directly compete with Renault Triber, hence its price can be around Triber. Its base variant can be priced at ₹ 6.20 lakh and the top variant can be priced at ₹ 9 lakh.

Special care has been taken of safety and modern technology in Nissan Gravit. In terms of safety, the company can provide 6 airbags as standard. The car will feature an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, rear parking camera and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
