Nissan’s upcoming 7-seater C-SUV will be based on the CMF-B platform. This is the same platform that underpins the new Nissan Tekton and the next-generation Renault Duster. This platform is being developed with significant localization for the Indian market.
Engine Options
The petrol engine option is expected to be introduced initially in the new Nissan 7-seater C-SUV. According to reports, two petrol engines can be given, which will strike a balance between power and mileage.
The hybrid version may also be considered for this SUV in the future. Given the increasing demand for hybrid technology in India, Nissan can take a big step in this direction.
Space, comfort and features
This SUV will be specially designed keeping in mind the family use. It is expected to have a better legroom, headroom and flexible seat arrangement with three-row seating.

Nissan can draw inspiration from its Legendary SUV Nissan Patrol if it comes to design. It is expected that the new 7-seater C-SUV will feature straight and muscular front facia, sharp LED lighting, raised wheel arch and strong bonnet.
Sculpted tailgate at the rear, large alloy wheels and sporty bumpers will give it a strong presence on the road. Overall, this SUV will not be MPV-like but will come with a fully SUV-look.
